Charlene was such a kind lady and neighbor, always with a smile on her face. We both have fond memories of her and your family. Playing in the neighborhood with Charles, Janice, Charlotte & John, we had great times. Rest in peace Charlene. Prayers for all of her family.

Nana Charlene was my God Mother. I spent a week with Nana at her and Uncle George's " Farm House" in Church Point, La. Sometime after my motorcycle accident in 94. I was still recovering and still needed someone around me 24/7. She took me on the swamp tour that was super awesome and interesting but the coolest thing that we did that we was when she took me on a Tuesday night to the old train station in Church point and we listened to live zydeco music. I had never heard anyone play a squeeze Box or accordion or whatever it was called, live. And we watch the people dance. It was always nice to go visit Nana. There is always something good to eat there's always cartoon Network on the TV. she used to take Chad and I to the courthouse in downtown Port Arthur and feed the goldfish. Great Memories ! Thank you Nana Charlene, peace be with you, I love you.

My deepest sympathy to the Duplant and Tweedel families. Your mom/aunt was a wonderful woman, so sweet and gracious every time I saw her many years ago. I knew her through Lula Mae and Dale. May she rest in peace; my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
