Obituary

Carolyn Schnarr, 86, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at her home.

She was born on January 12, 1932 to her parents, Jack Otts and Hazel Richardson Otts in Fordyce, Arkansas. Carolyn has been a resident of the area since 1957. She retired from the United Board of Missions as a secretary after 30 years of service. Carolyn was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Robert Schnarr of Groves, her two daughters, Julie Gleinser and husband, David of Port Arthur, Laura Cook and husband, Vance of Cypress, Texas, her two grandchildren, Samantha Pickett and Marcus Gleinser.

A memorial service to honor Carolyn’s life will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Mark Chambers, officiating. Her cremains will be entombed at the Church Columbarium. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves.
