Dad ive really needed you these past couple of weeks. I miss having someone there who was so proud of me and worried so much about me. You are irreplaceable and I hope I can be half the parent you were. Time has passed but it hasn't gotten any easier, until we meet again in heaven.

This is a sad and happy time for me personally! Sad that I lost my dearest friend and happy for him that he is in heaven with our father! He was the only one that ever called me Mama Rose! We talked on the phone for hours and always ended up telling each other we loved each other but not before many good laughs. He was that one of a kind type of friend! To the family I say thank you for sharing him with me! Deepest condolences to you all! My love for him will always remain a special place in my heart!

Girls, first, let me express my deepest condolences for your terrible loss. I got to work and travel with your Dad quite a bit, on the road, in the later stages of his career. Leah, I met you once when we were passing from one job to another. He used to call me The Sheriff, an inside joke. He was one of the most genuine and loyal friends  that I ever came across while traveling as an Insulator. When I tell you he was a Stand Up Guy, please believe it. He entertained everyone with his stories and jokes and I’ll greatly miss our regular bull sessions about sports and life in general. R.I.P. Midge 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
