Obituary

Betty Sue Davis was born June 21, 1938, she passed peacefully at her home on October 30, 2022 at the age of 84. Betty was born in Port Arthur, Texas and was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. She was a well known Realtor for many years in the Houston area and had been retired from the real estate business for 35 years.

Betty Sue Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Raymond Davis and Christine Natile Furr Davis; as well as her brothers John Townsend Davis, Raymond Terrell Davis, and Frances Gilbert Davis.

Those left to cherish her memory are her nephews Francis Gilbert Davis Jr., Daniel Gibbs Davis, Andrew Stewart Davis and Terrell Glenn Davis; along with great nephews, great nieces and extended family. She was a loving aunt and friend to all, she will be deeply missed.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.

Knew Betty and her family from the 4th Ave Baptist church and also she and I were classmates at Thomas Jefferson High School, class of 1956. She was a wonderful caring person and a good friend. Please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers during this time of loss and sorrow. She now rests in the arms and grace of God
