Barbara A. Theriot

Barbara A. Theriot, 98, of McKinney, Texas passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at her home.

She was born on December 7, 1924 in Mammoth, Utah to Clyde Humphrey and LaRee Andreasen Humphrey.  Barbara was a longtime resident of Port Arthur. She was a devoted homemaker in raising her daughter along with her husband, Norbert. Barbara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her three sisters, Carol Martinez, Anne Hill, Lois Bridges; her two brothers, Gene Humphrey and William Humphrey; her husband, Norbert J. Theriot.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Renee Howell and husband Steve; her two grandchildren, Steven  Howell and wife Wendy, Leslie Howell Camphouse and husband Christopher; her five great grandchildren, Meredyth Camphouse, Sydney Camphouse, Hailey Camphouse, Lauren Howell and Olivia Howell along with several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Barbara’s life will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens in Nederland.
