Obituary

Barbara Christine Oster Tenner, 84, of Nederland passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont.

She was born on July 26, 1937 in Port Arthur, Texas to her parents, Edmond Oster and Dorothy Bonnett Oster. Barbara was a former resident of Woodville. She worked as a Loan Officer with First Federal for many years. She was a devoted homemaker in raising her family and loved by all who knew her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Ed “Dick” Oster, her husband, Joseph Tenner and her son, James Michael Klinkhammer.

She is survived by her two sons, David Randall “Randy” Klinkhammer of Kerrville,TX. , Douglas Alan Klinkhammer of Nederland along with five grandchildren, Ryan Klinkhammer, Shea Harlen, Nathan Klinkhammer, Brian Klinkhammer and Harry Smith, numerous great grandchildren.

Service to honor Barbara’s life will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
