Alejandro Ramirez Valdez

Passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 13, 2019 after a brief illness. He was born in Irapuato, Guanapuato, Mexico on January 11, 1940. He lived in Texas for 65 years and loved his home state. He was a mason for over 50 years and got to know many in his community. He spent the last few years of his life caring for his ailing wife, Sylvia

Arredondo Ramirez.

His is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sylvia, and his daughter Sara (Sassy) Ramirez-Abdo and her husband, Joseph G. Abdo. He is preceded in death by his and brother Arturo Ramirez. He is survived by

his loving sisters Dee Green, Maria Judy, Julie McGuire, Adelita Armenia, Rosa Armenia, and Soledad Armenia and brothers Francisco

Armenia, Carlos Ramirez, Ignacio Ramirez, and George Ramirez . He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Christopher, Jeremy,

Jonathan and Jewel Abdo, all of Phoenix, Arizona who refer to him as “THE BEST GRANDPA EVER.” He will be forever missed.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 12:00 PM until service time. Cremation will follow the services, under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
