She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Hilton Howard Purser, and her son Milton Wayne Purser, as well as her parents, Emeritte and Dennis Landry. She is also reunited with her siblings: Wallace, Paul, Carry, U.J., Alford, Emma, and Becky.

Lisa's legacy of love, kindness, and commitment to her family will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her. As a long-time member of Friendship Baptist Church of Groves, she embraced her faith and shared her warmth with her community.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 12 P.M. till 2 P.M. with a Memorial service at 2 P.M, here at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, followed by an Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.

I have known Lisa since I was a small child. She was the sweetest and a fun loving person. But she could also keep Kay and I in line. Lisa always had a smile and a hug for you. Except during covid...but even then she would say "I love you, but I am not going to hug you." You have always been a special lady to me. Kay, my heart goes out to you and your family.
