Jessica Canizales, age 23 of Port Arthur, TX. passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont from injuries suffered in a vehicle accident on March 4, 2009 on Pleasure Island. She was born in Port Arthur on December 17. 1985 to Pam and Rudy Canizales She was a life long resident of Port Arthur, graduating from Memorial High School in 1984. Jessica was employed at Titan Seafood on Pleasure Island as a secretary and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She is survived by her parents Rudy and Pamela Canizales of Hemphill, daughter Adela Canizales of Hemphill, sister, Bambi Tremont of Rayne, La., nephews Bradley and Brandon Tremont and Braxton Fuchs all of Rayne, La. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and many friends.

I lived across the hall from Jessica my freshman year at Baylor and she always provided me with laughs. She was a great girl. I am shocked at her death. My prayers are with her family and her daughter.

Pam & Rudy I cannont imagine the loss you must feel at a time like this. No parent should ever have to lose a child. In her short time here we all lived & lauged & loved one another more because she was so full of life. Some people touch our hearts and go and some people touch our hearts and we are never ever quite the same. Goodbye our lit'l redhead you will be missed by us all and thank you for the memories.

To the Canizales Family: I didn't know you personally, but you are friends of my mom Lillie. When my mom told me about Jessica, I along with many others at ENGlobal Engineering "Prayer Warriors" kept Jessica in our prayers. We were so sad to hear of her passing.
