Paulfrey Odil Trosclair December 14, 1914 - March 19, 2009

Paulfrey Odil Trosclair, Sr., age 94, passed away at his residence in Lumberton, Tx. on March 17, 2009 after an lengthy illness. Paulfrey was born December 14, 1914 in Scott, La. to Augustin and Julie Domingue. He had been a resident of Port Arthur for 39 years, moving to Palestine and then to Lumberton. Paulfrey served our country during WWII receiving the Purple Heart and reaching the rank of Sergeant. He was a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus, a member of VFW Post 797, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aire 228. He was a member of Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Lumberton. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Paulfrey Trosclair, Jr .He is survived by his wife Carrie Trosclair of Lumberton, daughters Paulette and her husband Larry Locke of Palestine, Julie Nell and her husband Ignacio Manriquez of Lumberton, brother Melvin and his wife Freddie Trosclair of Wagoner, Ok., 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

Its been a long time since I rode in Mrs. Trosclair's ride to junior high school at Woodrow Wilson in Port Arthur. I still remember her and Paulette, though. I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Trosclair's passing. My sincere condolences to go the family, along with my best wishes that you are doing OK. It sounds like Mr. Trosclair really had a long and productive life. I know you miss him!
