Pauline Mondello December 12, 1923 - April 21, 2009

Pauline Maltese Mondello, 85, of Port Arthur passed away on April 21, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 12, 1923 to Agatha Drago Maltese and Pete Maltese in Beaumont, Texas. She attended South Park Schools and moved to Port Arthur in 1949 when she married Joseph Mondello. Pauline was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church for 48 years, where she was also a member of the Altar Society. She was also a member of the Italian American Cultural Club in Port Arthur. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Michael Maltese. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Joseph Mondello of Port Arthur, her daughters Marilyn Richardson and her husband Michael of Katy, Texas and Paula O'Neal and her husband Douglas of Groves, Texas, five granddaughters Shelly Tabor, Kimberley Tabor, Misty Foster and her husband Will, Christina Babineaux and her husband Neal and Michelle O'Neal, six great grandchildren and her sister-in-law Mary Bradford and her husband Bill of Kountze, Texas. In lieu of flowers, family request donations to be made to Alzheimer's Association or to Odyssey Hospice Foundation in memory of Pauline.
