Dennis Keith Foret, 54, of Groves, Texas died on Saturday June 20, 2009 at Renaissance Hospital in Groves. He was born April 22, 1955 to Katherine Ardoin Foret and U. L. Foret in Port Arthur, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Kayla Foret Girouard. He is survived by his wife, Jenny Latiolais Foret of Groves, Texas, two daughters Kacha Manning and Kodie Foret, two grandchildren Chance and Kyzyk, brother, Danny Foret, many nieces and nephews, 2 living pets, Trinket and Rita. Dennis was a lifetime Captain and Controller and Director of Port Arthur Towing Company for over 30 years. As a service to the community, he arranged benefits with his famous bar-b-que and crawfish boils, played his Cajun music in the background for Boy's Haven, Hughen Center and many other organizations. Dennis was also presented the Groves Father of the Year Award'. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. John Lee, his staff and all who helped care for Dennis. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society in Dennis's name.
