Carl Edward Bush December 2, 1928 - July 16, 2009

Carl Edward Bush, 80, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on July 16, 2009 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. He was raised in Beauxart Gardens, graduated from Nederland High School. He attended both Lamar University and Texas A. & M. He will be remembered for his outstanding 4-H work during his High School Days. He was the Jefferson County 4-H Gold Star winner in 1946 and the Texas State Fair outstanding 4-H Club member for East Texas in 1947. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Gulf/Chevron for 35 years and retired as Computer Supervisor in 1986. He was an Eagle Scout, member of the Masonic lodge Cosmopolitan 872 and a long time member and deacon of Port Arthur First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Ruth Bush ,his beloved wife Sara Bush and his brother Trent David Bush. He is survived by his three children, Craig Bush and his wife Alice of Vidor, Linda Bush Windle and husband Billy Windle of Nederland and Lori Bush Harris and husband Stacy Harris of Chicago, Illinois and 4 grand children.
