Michael Kent Elliott April 7, 1968 - August 23, 2009

Michael Kent Elliott was born April 7, 1968 in Port Arthur, Texas and died August 23, 2009 in Waukon, Iowa. He graduated from Port Neches Groves High School in 1986. He attended Angelina Junior College in Lufkin, Texas. He loved the great outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter his entire life. He worked in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator. He was employed at Bruening Rock Products in Decorah, Iowa. He is survived by his parents Grace and Kenneth Elliott of Lindale, Texas, Sisters Cheryl McCann and husband Michael McCann of Lake Conroe, Texas, Pat Daigle of Atlanta, Georgia and Cindy Williams of Lindale, Texas along with five nieces and nephews Brian McMillan, Kristin and Cole Thomas and Kaylee and Krayton Williams

Our hearts were broken when we heard the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. We can still see Michael, Dennis, Jeff, Darin and Gary as if it were yesterday coming into our shop C.J.'s Sporting Store. We were blessed to have the time we had with Michael, he always had that beautiful smile and those big blue eyes. He was such a joy to see everyday when he would come by the store with all his friends. We loved seeing them all. We have so many wonderful memories and photos of him and the guys when they were in high school. He will forever be in our hearts!
