W. Z. Glaze March 16, 1928 - September 11, 2009

W. Z. Glaze, 81, of Groves, Texas passed away on Friday, September 11, 2009 at Cypress Glen East Nursing Home in Port Arthur. He was born March 16, 1928 to Ettie Crouch Glaze and Roland M. Glaze in Port Arthur, Texas. He has been living in the Groves area since 1951. W. Z. served in the U. S. Naval Air Corp during WWII. He retired from Texaco Chemical as Purchasing Agent after 37 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Arthur and a 32nd degree member of the Groves Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roland and Rufus. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Martha Glaze of Groves, two daughters Nancy and husband Bryan Cozad of Humble, Texas and Cathy and husband Keith McGraw of Houston, Texas along with two grandchildren Benjamin and wife Sara Cozad of Allen, Texas and Samantha Cozad of Waco, Texas.
