June H. Pierce November 8, 1922 - March 14, 2010

June Hatch Pierce, 87, of Groves passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 14, 2010. She was born November 8, 1922 to Katie Mae Simms Hatch and Leonard Hatch in Monroe, Louisiana. She lived most of her life in the area. June retired as a Dietician with Cathedral School in Beaumont after 25 years of service. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Worship Center. June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John B. Pierce, her daughter, Karen Hardin, her sons, John D. Loyd and Ronnie Loyd, her grandson, Chuck Hardin. She is survived by her daughters, Robbie Reed and husband Steve of Groves, Priscilla Davenport and husband Alan of Beaumont along with 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Doris Hyslop of Kingwood, Texas, her brothers, Glen Hatch of Boerne, Texas, Gale Hatch of San Antonio, Texas and Don Hatch of Oklahoma as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Pro's Home Health and the Staff of Odyssey Hospice for their excellent care given to June in her last days.
