Joanna Paola Barriga, one month old infant daughter of Guillermina and Martin Barriga passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston. She was born in Galveston, Texas. She is survived by her parents, Guillermina and Martin Barriga of Port Arthur, her sisters, Alma, Imelda and Melissa Barriga all of Port Arthur. Her grandparents, Imelda Hurtado, Luis Barriga, Leonardo Yanez and Zenaida Herrera all of Mexico along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur.
