Michael Anthony Ramirez November 10, 1961 - April 24, 2010

Michael Anthony Ramirez, 48, of Port Arthur passed away Saturday April 24, 2010 in his home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Michael was born on November 10, 1961 in Port Arthur, beloved son of Carlos M. and Anna June Ramirez. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1980 and served in the Army National Guard Reserves. He worked as a Plumbing technician and Air conditioning technician for various companies. He is survived by his two children; Michael Anthony, II of Lumberton and Savanna of Port Arthur; parents Carlos M. and Anna June Ramirez; sisters, Deborah Ramirez of Port Arthur and Linda Delgadillo (Joe) of Groves; brother, David Ramirez (Kelley) of Port Neches; nephews, Charlie Sanford (Renee'), B.J. Sanford (Cheri), Justin & Dylan Merritt, Chris, Adam & Brandon Ramirez; great uncle to Adyn & Isabella Sanford, and Julian Merritt.

Although I'm not a blood relative, I've known Michael all of life. I loved him dearly with all of my heart and his family. I have so much sadness in my heart and tears for Mike leaving this world but know he is out of the dreadful pain he has suffered for so long.
