Curtis Lee Price, 47, of Port Arthur passed away at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont on Monday April 26, 2010. He was born August 16, 1962 to Nettie Christine Crump Price and Marvin James Price, Sr. in Port Arthur. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1981. Curtis was employed as a mainsaver with Commercial Metals in Beaumont with 10 years of service. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Lutheran faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Anita East and his brother, Marvin Price, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Bridget Rasa Price of Port Arthur, daughter, Shelby Price of Orangefield, his sisters, Carolyn Bailey of Nederland, Stacy Stewart and husband Michael of Hemphill, Becky Collins and husband Joe of Baytown, his brother, Shannon Price and wife Christina of Port Arthur, sister-in-law, Myra Price of Orange along with several nieces and nephews.

Just heard about Curtis passing today. Played baseball and football with him in high school, he was a good athlete and nice guy. My sincerest condolences go out to the family.

curtis old friend, hate to see you go. i havent seen you in years but back in the day we really had some fun and good timesand alot of laughs. i remeber once we went fishing with your dad and he said i better not mess up his lure and the first cast i lost it and he got mad. i wish i could have seen you before now. you will be dearly missed. sincerely art mason.
