Jack Frederick Grady August 22, 1930 - May 10, 2010

Jack Frederick Grady, 79, of Groves, Texas passed away at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont on Monday May 10, 2010. He was born August 22, 1930 to Rosemary Cox Grady and Calvin Grady in Port Arthur, Texas. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. Jack retired from Dupont as a Electrical Supervisor after 25 years of service. After his retirement, they moved to Lago Vista, where they lived for 16 years before coming back to the Groves. While in Lago Vista, they were members of Rolling Hills Community Church and Jack played golf at the nearby courses. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mickey Condray, his brother, James Grady and his son, Michael Barnes Grady. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Barnes Grady of Groves, his sons, Calvin Crayton Grady and wife Pam of Groves, James Baker Grady and wife Lisa Nell of Apopka, Fl., his daughter-in-law, Lisa Ann Grady of Maitland, Fl. along with four grandchildren, Ashley Anderson, Cassandra Colleen Grady, Austin Michael Grady, Tyler Barnes Grady. He is also survived by his sisters, Elaine Smith, Ruth Pace and husband Lamar, Edith Jonas and husband Frank, numerous nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers, family request memorial contributions for Cancer research be made to your favorite organization in memory of Jack.
