Lloyd B Duhon October 6, 1926 - May 12, 2010
Lloyd B. Duhon, 83, of Port Arthur passed away at Christus St. Mary Hospital on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. He was born October 6, 1926 to Marie Duhon and Ophie Duhon in Abbeville, Louisiana. He graduated from Meaux High School in Meaux, Louisiana. Lloyd served in the U. S. Navy from January 1945 to May 1946 during World War II. He retired from the Storehouse at Gulf Oil in March 1985 after 36 ½ years of service. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, where he and his wife Eula served as gift bearers for mass. Lloyd was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Immaculate Conception Council #3491. Visitation will be on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 15, 2010 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church with Rev. Duc Duong serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Olear Duhon of Kaplan, Louisiana. He is survived by his loving wife Eula Lege Duhon of Port Arthur, his daughters, Cheryl Bryant and husband Bob of Nederland, Sheila Piletere and husband Craig of Port Neches, six grandchildren, Brad Bryant, Chad Bryant, Bobby Bryant, Robert Herring, Jeremy Piletere and Ryan Piletere along with 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
