Marceline Droddy Bohannon, 81, of Port Arthur passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Cypress Glen Nursing Home in Port Arthur. She was born February 8, 1929 to Clara Belle McConathy Droddy and Olon Eugene Droddy in Port Arthur, Texas. She lived most of her life in the Port Arthur area. Marceline retired from Port Neches Groves I. S. D. as a Kindergarten and 1st Grade teacher at Ridgewood Elementary School after 20 years of service. She was affiliated with Fairdale Baptist Church in Hemphill. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Buddy Bohannon. She is survived by her daughters, Jancie Snyder of Dallas, Texas, Clara M. Thomas of Port Neches, Texas and Joy Burson and her husband Allen of Groves along with 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
