Mike and Children, Don't know if you remember me. I would babysit Jason and Michele when yall lived on Main St., in New Iberia, La. I was in Houston, Tx for a a few days. I was just reading the Daily Iberian and was shocked to read of Ginger's passing away. So sorry to hear of the news. I had made contact with Ginger about a year ago. We spoke on the phone, enjoyed it so much!! She was a great inspiration to me at an early age in my life!! I send to the family, prayer and love! God Bless!

Michael and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Ginger will forever remain in my heart. She was a great friend and Patriot! I worked with Ginger and I can attest to her fierce love of Country, God and her great State, and of course Family and friends, especially little Cade. When I think of Ginger, I think of the song "Oh America" - words as follows: "O, America you're calling, I can hear you calling me: You are calling me to be true to thee, True to thee I will be. O, America no weeping, Let me heal your wounded heart: I will keep you in my keeping, Till there be a new start. And I will answer you, and I will take your hand, And lead you to the sun: And I will stand by youdo all that I can do, And we will be as one. O, America I hear you, From your prairies to the sea, From your mountains grand, and all through this land, You are beautiful to me." You all are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Melony
