Patricia Kibbe October 22, 1945 - January 12, 2011

Patricia Ann Johnson Kibbe, 65, of Groves died Wednesday, January 12, 2011. She was born on October 22, 1945 in Port Arthur, Texas to Verna and Monte Johnson and was a lifelong residence of the Port Arthur/Groves area. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1963. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vema and Monte Johnson and brother, Ronald Johnson. Pat is survived by her loving husband, Robert Kibbe, Sr. of Groves, son, Jade Fontenot of Houston, twin sister, Pam Stelly of Orange, sisters, Annette Snyder (Larry) of Houston, Lynnette Radcliffe (Brian) of Beaumont, sister-in-law, Gaye Nell Miller (Herman) of Groves and brother-in-law, Chris Kibbe of Groves, stepchildren, Kara Wied (Keith) of Beaumont, Giles Kibbe of Houston, Robert Kibbe, Jr. (Katie) of Atlanta, GA and Justin Kibbe of Port Arthur, Grandchildren, Jonathan Fontenot of Houston, Anna Katherine, Caroline and Rebecca Wied of Beaumont and William and Emily Claire Kibbe of Atlanta, GA., nephews, Gary Stelly (Angie) of Orange, Cory Stelly of Friendswood, Kevin Johnson of Dallas and nieces, Kerri Johnson Brandt of Dallas and Michelle Anders of Clear Lake. While growing up, Pat and identical twin Pam, actively performed on local television shows and civic groups in the area. She retired from State Farm Insurance Agency, where she worked for many years. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and beloved sister and enjoyed cooking her wonderful Cajun cuisine for her family and friends.

Bobbie, Pat always told me that if anything every happens, to make sure you continue your love of golf, but not to give you any strokes. SO there you go! we will always miss her as well, especially her gumbo !
