Craig Carter Fischer, Sr. March 19, 1950 - March 23, 2011

Craig Carter Fischer, Sr., 61, of Groves passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Dubuis Hospital in Port Arthur. He was born March 19, 1950 to Mildred Johnson Fischer and Wilbert B. Fischer in Port Arthur. He was a lifelong resident of the area. Craig worked as a sheet metal worker out of Local #54 and retired after 28 years. He is survived by loving wife Yolanda Avilez Fischer of Groves, sons, Craig C. Fischer, Jr. of Groves, Kevin Furrh of Groves, grandchildren, Azlynn Fischer, Drake Ryan Furrh, Devin Rae Furrh, DeAsia Reanne Furrh, two great grandchildren, Adin Kia Furrh and Brandon Furrh. He is also survived by his parents, W. B. and Mildred Fischer of Groves, his brother, David Fischer of Beaumont along with numerous nieces and nephews.
