Richard R. Richard, Sr. February 6, 1930 - April 10, 2011

Richard R. Richard, Sr., 81, of Groves passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 6, 1930 to Elodie Pitre Richard and John F. Richard in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been a resident of Groves for 59 years. Richard proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corp in the 8th Division during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged as a sergeant. He retired from Gulf Oil as a welder after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Delores Richard of Groves, son, Richard R. Richard, Jr. and wife Camilla of Bridge City, granddaughter, Olivia Richard of Bridge City along with several nieces and nephews.
