Daniel R. Denison, Sr. January 31, 1937 - April 10, 2011

Daniel R. Denison, Sr., 74, of Sabine Pass passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born January 31, 1937 to Martha Henderson Denison and Ralph L. Denison in Rolla, Missouri. He has been a resident of Texas for 22 years. Daniel retired from Plains All American Trucking as a driver after 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Dale, David and Ralph. He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Denison of Sabine Pass, daughter, Beth Denison of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, four sons, Daniel R. Denison, Jr. and wife Tracy of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Douglas Denison, John Denison and wife Tammy, Darryl Denison all of Houma, Louisiana, four step-daughters, Maria Chancelor of Nederland, Jennifer Blood and husband Ethan, Michelle Cummings all of Sabine Pass and Melissa Cummings of Port Neches, two step-sons, Jason Cummings of Nederland, Jamie Cummings and wife Heidi of Port Arthur along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Leland Denison, Sr. and wife Ann of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
