Thelma Pearl Trahan November 29, 1928 - May 5, 2011

Thelma Pearl Dewees Trahan, 82, of Port Arthur passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. She was born November 29, 1928 to Lenney Elizabeth Aliger Dewees and Hiram H. Dewees in Port Arthur. She was a lifelong resident of Port Acres and graduated from Thomas Edison High School in 1945. Thelma was an entrepreneur involved in several businesses over the years, especially Trahan Trucking for the last 20 years. She was affiliated with Woodlands Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and four brothers and her husband, Frozie Joseph Trahan, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jo "Jodie" Martin and husband David of Fannett, Texas, her three sons, Frozie Joseph Trahan, Jr. of Port Arthur, Texas, Gerald Jay Trahan and wife Sheila of Port Arthur, Texas, Claude Lynn Trahan and wife Dena of The Woodlands, Texas, seven grandchildren, David Martin, Jr., Cherie Martin, Rusty Campbell, Derek Trahan, Jason Trahan, Luke Trahan and Joshua Trahan, ten great-grandchildren, Kevin, Hanah, Taylor, Chelsea, Elizabeth, Angelica, Greyson, Haylee, Paige and Faith.
