Mark Russell Broussard, 65, of Groves, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born October 10, 1945 to Lucille Boudreaux Broussard and Joseph Clyde Broussard in Port Arthur, Texas. Mark graduated from Bishop Byrne High School and Lamar, where he earned his Electricians degree. He worked at Mobil Oil for twenty years before moving to Chevron, where he retired as an electrician after twenty years. He served in the U. S. Army and was stationed in Korea and Thailand. Mark was a fourth degree Knight with the Dick Dowling Assembly in Nederland. He never met a stranger and would do anything that you asked him. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Hebert Broussard of Groves, Texas, daughter, Melissa Fant and husband James of Orangefield, Texas, son, Edward Broussard and wife Darline of Groves, Texas, three grandchildren, Kira, Joseph and Dylan. He is also survived by his sister, Loretta Broussard of Port Arthur, Texas, brother, Daniel J. Broussard of Iowa, Louisiana along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

To Mark's family goes my deepest heartfelt prayers. I knew Mark from MDA and he was a great wonderful person. Everyone loved him and enjoyed his company. He will be missed and our prayers go with you. God Bless and know you have a guardian angel in heaven.

Just met Mark in the last year. He was a kind,fun loving guy,who could liven up anyones mood. He loved to laugh and cut up and was always happy.Heaven will be a happier place with him there.He will be missed.May he rest in peace.
