Theresa Christine Marshall Hayes, 81, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. She was born January 27, 1930 to Lucy Lee Weston Marshall and Atwood Marshall in Atmore, Alabama. She lived in the Port Arthur area for 57 years and was a member of the Baptist faith. Theresa worked as an insurance agent for American National Life Insurance Company for over 15 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, ten brothers, her husband, William B. Hayes, her son, W. Phillip Hayes and her daughter, Linda Hayes Rogas. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Miller and husband Buddy of Fort White, Florida, Sharon Hayes of Alachua, Florida, Janet Wallace and husband Perry of Nederland, Texas, Nancy Lively and husband Dennis of Orange, Texas, Lori Gallier of Hamshire, Texas, her son, Michael Hayes and wife Natalie of Westlake, Louisiana. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, her sister, Hazel Morgan and husband Glen of Brandon, Mississippi as well as several nieces and nephews.

Lori, and family, I hope you read this. I was just on here trying to find you, and found this. I truly am sorry at the loss of your mom. She was such a sweet woman. She had to be to put up with me coming over all those years!! I am praying for you. I know the loss of a parent is one of the hardes things, no matter what age.
