Elaine Haynes March 25, 1917 - October 27, 2011

Elaine Haynes, 94, of Port Arthur, Texas died October 27, 2011. She was born March 25, 1917 in Perry, Louisiana, the second daughter of Albert and Elva LeBlanc of Abbeville, Louisiana. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jack Haynes, grandson Martin Hardy, sister Opal Picket and brothers Roland LeBlanc and Al LeBlanc. She is survived by her daughters Bessie Haynes and Jacqueline Hardy, wife of Paul Hardy, grandson Michael Hardy and wife Dawn, great grandchildren, Joseph Hardy, Lillian Hardy, Noah Hardy, Levi Self and Nathan Self. She is also survived by her sisters, Gladys Fleming and Elcho Young and brother Gene LeBlanc and wife Wilma, several nieces and nephews, as well as her loving caregivers, Julia Holmes and Cleotha Jones. Elaine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose incredible dedication to her family was her defining quality and legacy. Her sense of humor and positive outlook on life, no matter what hardships and obstacles she faced, were truly inspirational. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
