Eileen Nelson September 27, 1939 - December 2, 2011

Eileen Nelson, age 72 of Bridge City passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Christus St. Mary Hospital. Eileen was born in Port Arthur on September 27, 1939, to James and Lois Reed Melton. Eileen was a member of The First United Pentecostal Church of Port Arthur and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Donald Watson of Bridge City, son, James Navarre of Flower Mound, Texas and daughter, Thelma Navarre of Katy, Texas, sister, Wanda Lee and husband R.A. Thompson of The Colony, Texas, six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents and son Douglas Ray Wisenhunt.

To Sissy and family, this is so hard to believe. I have known Eileen all my life. Her and my Aunt Lilly were life long friends. She was such a big part of our family. Its hard to imagine our lives without her. She would visit my Aunt every sunday on her way to church, maybe eat a bite or snack on something or just plain spend time with her. They also talked on the phone everyday checking on each other.My Aunt will forever miss her, that was a once in a lifetime friendship-thats for sure.Our hearts are broken along with yours and we will never forget her. please keep in touch with us. we love you eileen.
