Viola Zapotoschny, 85, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2011 at Cypress Glen East Nursing Home in Port Arthur. She was born on July 11, 1926 to Felicia Matt Richard and Varice Richard in Churchpoint, Louisiana. She was a longtime resident of Port Arthur. Viola retired from K-Mart after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Glory Mae Essary and Eunice Richard, her brothers, Emory Richard and Bertrand Richard and her husband, Nicholas "Nick" Zapotoschny, Sr. She is survived by her children, Nicholas "Nick" Zapotoschny, Jr. and his wife Dena of Hemphill, Texas, Joseph Zapotoschny and his wife Debbie of Nederland, Texas and Annie Marie Lewis and her husband Jim of Atlanta, Georgia, six grandchildren, Stephanie Lewis, Katherine Rodriguez, Eric Zapotoschny, Micah Zapotoschny, Shanda Norcross and Sabrina Ramirez, nine great grandchildren, Alexis, Emily, Kenzie, Nicholas, Riley, Brandon, Caleb, Faith and Lance along with numerous nieces and nephews.
