John Granger February 15, 1924 - March 1, 2012

John Granger, 88 of Groves passed away on March 1, 2012 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. John was a 66 year resident of Groves and retired from Texaco as a supervisor with 36 years of service. John was a proud member of the U.S. Navy during W.W. II., and received several medals for his service to our country. John was born in Erath, LA. on February 15, 1924 to Charles and Eliza Landry Granger. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Irene. John is survived by his daughters: Portia and husband Rodney Ward of Vidor, Connie and husband Dudley Richerson of Groves, Brenda and husband Monty Pastorick of Sarasota, FL. And Mona Menard of New Iberia, LA., grandchildren: Jon and Chad Ward, Shane Richerson, Dirk Pastorick and Denise Branton, great grandchildren: Asher Ward, Dean and Drew Branton, Jolie Pearl and Ella Rose Pastorick.
