Richard W. Brown, Jr., 55, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on March 1, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was born on January 15, 1957 to Louise Sonnier Brown and Richard W. Brown, Sr. in Freeport, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and worked as a deckhand for Port Arthur Towing Company. He is survived by his brother, David Brown and his sisters, Dianne Brown and Regan Brown all of Port Arthur, Texas, two uncles, Leonard Sonnier, Jr. of Port Arthur, Texas and Raymond Brown of Port Neches, Texas, three aunts, Agnes Welch of Houston, Texas, Mary Nora Berry of Hobb, New Mexico, Gladys Daire of Bridge City, Texas, Numerous cousins.
