Bonnie Fay Gray March 16, 1935 - March 16, 2012

Bonnie Gray, 77, of Sabine Pass, Texas passed away on March 16, 2012 in Groves, Texas. She was a resident of Magnolia Manor and under the care of Odyssey Hospice. She was born on March 16, 1935 to Emma Jennings Eldridge and Henry Eldridge. She graduated from Sabine Pass High School. Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Sabine Pass where she loved her community. Bonnie retired from Sea Rim State Park after many years of service. She also worked at her brother's local hardware store, Gabby's Hardware. Bonnie was a member of Sabine Pass United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Ivan Gray; her sister, Beulah Bellaire; brothers-in-law, James Howard Gray and wife, Evelyn Gray, R.W. "Bobby" Stokes, Gerald Redwine; sister-in-laws, Jinx Snead and husband, Rene Snead, Rhea Hughes and husband, Boyd Hughes. Bonnie is survived by her son, Bryan Gray and wife Susan Gray of Sabine Pass, Texas, her grandson, Ross Ivan Gray of Sabine Pass, Texas. She is also survived by her brother, R.L. "Gabby" Eldridge and wife Virginia Eldridge of Sabine Pass, Texas her brother, Jennings Eldridge and wife Doris Eldridge and her sister, Gloria "Dudie" Ezell of Orange, Texas; sister-in-laws, Merle Stokes Patterson and husband, Billy Patterson of Port Neches, Texas, Jo Ann Waites and husband, James Waites of Groves, Texas, Ruth Redwine Burkhalter and husband, Chester Burkhalter of Nederland, Texas along with her special friend, Polly Timms of Hamshire, Texas. We would like to offer a special thank you to Odyssey Hospice, The Arboretum of Winnie, and Magnolia Manor. Our family would like to thank Rev. Kitty Key for the love and support shown to us during this difficult time. Thank you to all of our friends and family that have been there for us throughout this time.
