I'm sorry for your loss. Judy was such a nice person. I always enjoyed her company. I miss her for now and look forward to seeing her again someday. The following thoughts are very comforting to me and I would like to share them with you. Jesus resurrected a young girl and said " she did not die but is sleepinghe took her by the hand and called, saying: "Girl, get up!" And her spirit returned, and she rose instantly" (Luke 8:52-55) He added "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus'] voice and come out." (John 5:28, 29) What a joy it will be to see so many loved ones again! Conditions will be different for "there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise " (2 Peter 3:13) In the new earth "no resident will say: "I am sick." (Isaiah 33:24) Then "death will be no morenor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4) At that time the Bible adds about God "You are opening your hand and satisfying the desire of every living thing." (Psalm 145:16) Just imagine a perfect world at last! With no end in sight for the Bible states "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it. (Psalm 37:29) What a grand future is extended to us all.
