Marcial Aleman August 26, 1923 - April 2, 2012

Marcial (Charlie) Aleman, 88, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. He was born on August 26, 1923 to Eluteria Martinez Aleman and Fernando Aleman in Port Arthur, Texas. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Charlie retired from Texaco as an operator after 40 years of service. He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 ½ years, Lilia Flores Aleman of Port Arthur, Texas, children, Olivia and husband Phil Vergara of Port Neches, Texas, David and wife Brenda Aleman of Humble, Texas, Carlos (Tinky) and wife Kathe Aleman of Irving, Texas, Tina and husband Larry Paquet of Missouri City, Texas, eight grandchildren, Erik Vergara and wife Mandi, Victoria, Christina and David Aleman, Carlos Aleman, Sarah and husband Chris Black, Shannon and Brent Paquet, four great grandchildren, Shelbie Vergara, Caylee Aleman, Austin Piggott and Emily Black, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Marcial Aleman, Jr. and his sister, Angelina Arciva.

Lillie,Ollie,Tina & David, so shocked to learn of Mr. Aleman's death. He was always so courteous and quite when I see you too @ the Senior club or @ the 4 pm Mass. He lived a good life and will be missed by many but your beautiful memories will always be with you all the time. Lillie, you and he were blessed to have almost 70 years together and raise such wonderful children. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. Love, Maria Perez
