Troy Joseph Guilbeaux June 29, 1951 - April 11, 2012

Troy Joseph Guilbeaux, age 60, passed away at his home in Groves, Texas on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 after a brief illness. Troy was born in Port Arthur, Texas. A diesel mechanic, Troy worked for a variety of companies including Mustang, Catapiller, SEI for nearly 30 years. Preceded in death by his brother, Terry Guilbeaux. Troy is survived by his daughter, Michelle Williams and husband Chris of Spring, Texas, grandsons, Preston and Drew Pearson of College Station, Texas. Also survived by parents, Arthur and Rosella Guilbeaux of Groves, Texas, brother Jody Guilbeaux and wife Angie of Groves, Texas, brother Larry Guilbeaux, Juris Doctor, and partner Robert Hickson of Groves, Texas, Sister, Jeanette Godkin and husband Larry of Denham Springs, Louisiana. He is survived by nieces Amber Guilbeaux of Conroe, Texas, Kimberly Guilbeaux of Groves; and nephews, Aaron Godkin of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Chris Guilbeaux of Port Neches, Texas and Heath Guilbeaux of Houston, Texas, and one great niece, Corynn Godkin of Denham Springs, Louisiana. The Guilbeaux family extends heartfelt thanks to the kind, professional and caring services provided by American Hospice Company of Beaumont, Texas, with much gratitude to Ms. Lacey Rhodes, R.N. who provided such excellent care to Troy during his final days.
