Mary Virginia Pandella February 8, 1919 - May 29, 2012

Mary Virginia Bishop Pandella, 93, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves. She was born on February 8, 1919 in Pittsburgh, Kansas to Ophelia Emmerson Bishop and Howard Walter Bishop. She moved to Port Arthur in 1925 and worked at the Republic of Texas Savings and Loan for 14 years. Mary was a member of St. Georges Episcopal Church and Holy Trinity Episcopal. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and two brothers, her husband Edward John Pandella and her son Richard Kirk Pandella. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Alston and husband Norman of Port Arthur, Texas, two grandchildren, Michael Alston and wife Lynnette, Elizabeth Alston Higginbotham and husband Doug along with six great grandchildren. In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Port Neches, Texas in memory of Mary or to a charity of your choice.

I was informed by my GodMother, Mary Bishop De Coux, that Mrs. Pandella had passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. What I remember about her was her beautiful smile and that she called me Baby Doll! My prayers are with you! Also my Father, Gus Toloudis sends his condolences.
