John Wallace Hulin February 16, 1919 - June 11, 2012
John Wallace Hulin, 93, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012 at his home. He was born on February 16, 1919 in Youngsville, Louisiana to Leonie Trahan Hulin and Cleus Hulin. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. John was a longtime resident of Port Arthur before moving to Groves in 1950. He retired from Gulf Oil as a boilermaker after 37 years of service. John was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where he served as chaplain. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Anita May DeCursey Hulin of Groves, Texas, his sister, Mary June Land of Bridge City, Texas along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephew. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Southern Home Health care along with his sitters, Raymond, Maribel, Patty and Ericka.
