Eunice Hayes Lanclos November 16, 1917 - July 10, 2012

Eunice Hayes Lanclos, 94, of Groves, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born on November 16, 1917 to Eugenia Dupuis Hayes and Henry Hayes in Arnaudville, Louisiana. She has been a resident of the area for over 70 years. Eunice was a homemaker, seamstress, a faithful wife, loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Beaumont. Eunice loved god, reading her bible and tending to her flowers and eating out with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joshua Lanclos and her son, Bobby Lanclos. Eunice is survived by her daughters, Genelle Smith and husband Steve of Orange, Texas, Dolores Ruysenaars and husband Pete of Beaumont, Texas, Pam Hernandez and husband Claude of Beaumont, Texas, daughter-in-law, Frances Lanclos. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kelly Lanclos and wife Dawn, Gina Landry and husband Paul, Beth Lanclos, David Ruysenaars, Tisha Batchelor and husband Jeff, Eric Ruysenaars, Spec. Josh Hernandez, currently serving in Afghanistan and wife Angelica, Andrew Hernandez and companion Lacey, Kayla Hernandez, 11 great grandchildren and her sister, Mary Ann Hayes of Maurice, Louisiana as well as nieces and nephews.

My thoughts & prayers are with each of you during this loss. She will be missed greatly. Thank ya'll for sharing her with me while I have been helping take care of her. Miss Lanclos always put a smile on my face each visit. May God bless each one of yall.
