Dorothy Beaumont September 10, 1919 - July 12, 2012

Dorothy Beaumont, 92, of Groves, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born on September 10, 1919 to Lula Parish Peveto and Everett Peveto in Port Arthur, Texas. Dorothy was a 1938 graduate of Port Neches Groves High School. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Church of Christ. Dorothy was active in the Aggie Mom's Club and was "Miss Groves" for one year. She loved her family, her church, visiting with the sick and of course her "mocha". She was preceded in death by her parents, her five siblings, her husband Carl Beaumont and son Michael Beaumont. Dorothy is survived by her son Richard "Dickie" Beaumont and wife Jenni of Groves, Texas, her six grandchildren Dana McCue and husband Mike of Pasadena, Texas, Gary Beaumont of College Station, Texas, Kim Beaumont of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Carla Terry and husband Scott of College Station, Texas, Cristi Snively and husband Tim of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Lisa Beaumont of Austin, Texas along with six great grandchildren Ashleigh, Emilee, Mindy, Abby, Megan and Ella. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Robert Bowling and her caregivers at Home Away from Home, Robin, Cyd, Megan, Jeannah, Shirley, Verna and Laura.
