Willie Faye Ashcraft Boersman, 86 of Nederland passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at a local health care facility. She was born in Star City, Arkansas on August 19, 1925 to Luther and Avery Brookins Watts. Willie Faye was employed at Walgreen Drug store as a bookkeeper for over 38 years. She had been a residence of the Port Arthur-Groves area for 60 years. Faye had lifelong interests in gardening and fishing. Willie Faye was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 husbands, 3 brothers and 1sister.she is survived by her sons, Jim A. and his wife Cindy Ashcraft of Nederland, Bill H. and his wife Leann Ashcraft of Dermott, Arkansas, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Mona Bias for her devotion and care during Faye's illness.

I was so sorry to hear of Faye's passing. I loved her very much and am so greatful to her for loving and taking such good care of my PawPaw George for so many years. I always thought of her as my grandma and loved her dearly. My prayers are with her whole family at this difficult time. I will always be truly honored to have known Faye, she was a very special lady.

I was in town visiting with my Dad when he told me of Miss Faye's passing. You have my deepest sympathy. Your Mother, Grandmother was a kind and loving woman. I was privileged to attend church with her for several years. She took such good care of George and was a caring friend to my parents (especially during my Mother's illness and passing) Miss Faye was a sweet, sweet lady and I am so thankful to have known her.
