Gordon Chester Kimbrough June 3, 1923 - August 20, 2012

Gordon Kimbrough, 89, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012, at Cypress Glen East in Port Arthur. Gordon was born in Mexia, Texas on June 3, 1923, to William and Velma Hicks Kimbrough. He lived in the Port Arthur area for 63 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and served during WWII. He was retired from BF Goodrich, where he worked as an operator for over 30 years. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Vera Kimbrough. He is survived by his daughters, Diane Cook of Groves, Texas, and Wanda Barrios and husband Johnny of Magnolia, Texas; five grandchildren; Valerie Vela and husband Tony of Groves, Texas, Shelley Metts and husband Eric of Orangefield, Texas, Pamela Martin and husband Thomas of Magnolia, Texas, Janna Hart and husband Kellie of Bridge City, Texas, Sarah Epps and husband Reagan of Houston, Texas and 10 great grandchildren.

I am so sorry for yr loss and your family will be in my prayers. I went to church in Pt. Arthur with Mr. and Mrs. Kimbrough and they were always so nice to me and my boys.
