Miss Pat: I just wanted you to know that we will also be donating to the Parkinson's Foundation in Mr. Dale's memory. Mom always told me what beautiful plants and flowers you had. I wanted you to have something special to see every day in Mom and Dad's memory also. They loved you both so much. I hope you are comforted each time you see it. Love, Monette

Dear Family and Friends: I just wanted to take a moment to offer my sincere condolences on the passing of our dear friend, Dale Miller. Below are my views of Dale : 1) The Dale Miller I knew had great courage. He was never afraid to speak out against the status quo and conventional wisdom.. 2) The Dale Miller I knew had amazing wisdom. He always knew his subject matter - - and could always defend it.. 3) The Dale Miller I knew had conviction. He always felt strong about his ideas, no matter what anyone else thought. 4) The Dale Miller I knew had clarity. His message was typically simple, concise and easily understood.. 5) And the Dale Miller I knew had credibility. He dang sure knew how to walk the walk and talk the talk. No one had more compromising integrity than Dale . He always thought with discipline and honesty. He could sort through flattery, through politics and could always see things as they truly were. He was a most remarkable man. I always viewed Dale as incredibly competent, very caring and amazingly confident. I met Dale through another dear friend, Ray LaBove. Dale's interest included a real love of music and we had many a dandy conversation about the jazz field and musicians of yesteryear. My thoughts and prayers are with the Family.

With deepest regrets, I will not be able to attend the services, but please know my heart and prayers will be with you all. A better man never walked this earth than Mr. Miller. I hurt with all of you, but I do take some comfort knowing that Mom and Dad were there waiting for him with Jesus in Heaven. May God, in His infinite Mercy and Wisdom, help you find a place to heal in the lifelong memories of a remarkable husband, father and friend.
