Clarence Arthur "Art" Lecoq May 6, 1939 - October 10, 2012 Born in Port Arthur TX to Clarence Almon and Winnie Marie Lecoq.Graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, TX, and Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. Married to Tom Alice (Beasley) Lecoq on September 2, 1960 and resided in Nederland, TX. Survived by wife Tom Alice "Tommie" Lecoq, two sons Kevin Lecoq of El Lago, TX and Brandy Lecoq (wife), Corey Lecoq of League City, TX and Shannon Lecoq (wife), and 2 grandchildren Millie and Henry Lecoq. Served individuals and business in the Insurance and Risk Management industry for nearly 40 years and on numerous boards and committees in the church and community. Was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Nederland, TX and enjoyed to golf, hunt, fish, and spend time with family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Nederland. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
