Anna Lou Nunez November 19, 1922 - October 22, 2012

Anna Lou Nunez Anna Nunez, 90 of Port Acres, Texas passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Anna was born in Breaux Bridge, LA on November 19, 1922 to Noeda Thibodeaux and Simon LeBlanc. She lived in the Port Acres area for 66 years. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Lurcie Nunez. She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Benoit and husband Joe of Port Acres, Charlene Babineaux and husband Danny of Vidor; sisters, Thelma Elmore of Nederland, Jeane LaCour of Lafayette, LA and Jeanette Owens of Orange. There are five grandchildren; Audra Davis, Bret Babineaux, Thad Davis, Slate Babineaux and Vance Davis; nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
