Earline Welch September 19, 1938 - November 13, 2012

Earline Nelson Welch, 74 of Lumberton passed away on November 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on September 19, 1938 to Harry L. and Annie Moss Nelson. Earline was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School in Port Acres in 1956 and graduated from Port Arthur College in 1957. She was retired from Lumberton I.S.D after 14 years of service. Earline was a 35 year residence and was formerly of Port Acres. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elbert Welch and sister Gloria Welch. Survivors are daughters; Jodie Gayle Loupe of Lumberton and Jana Darlene Garsee of Kountze, twin sister, Geraldine and husband James Broussard of Lumberton. Grandchildren, Michelle and Michael McKennon, Megan Garrison and Katlyn and Austin Garsee and Shelby Loupe. Great grandchildren, Cash Cramer and McKennzie Garrison and future great grandchild Cooper McKennon and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, 5200 W. Parkway, and Groves, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clayton Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson with internment to follow at Memory Garden Cemetery.
