Jack Cliett Edwards Jack Cliett Edwards, 80 of Groves passed away on December 10, 2012 at a local health care facility. Jack was born on October 8, 1932 to Earl C. and Thelma L. Cliett Edwards in WestPoint, Mississippi. Jack was a long time resident of Groves and retired from Gulf Oil Corporation after 37 years of service as a supervisor in waste management. Jack graduated high school in Jackson, Mississippi and Draughn Business College in Jackson, Mississippi. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, He is survived by his wife, Peggy of Groves, son, William and his wife Kimberly Edwards of Fayetteville, North Carolina, daughters, Teresa and her husband Jim Perry of Groves, Cindy and her husband Larry Morrison of Vidor and Donna and her husband Shane Walker of Port Neches, grandchildren, Cory Perry, Lacy Perry Dixon, Lee Harley Morrison, Jack Morrison, Jacob Walker, Kaleb Walker, Hannah Walker, Chad Edwards and Justin Edwards as well as 3 great grandchildren. Visitation was on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, December 13, 2012 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at 11:00 A.M. A private family burial will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
